Analyst/Project Assistant, Seattle Office
We are seeking an individual with outstanding qualifications who is interested in providing analytic support to clients as well as administrative office support. Job responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support for company’s consulting projects in the United States
- Assist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting work
- Assist with marketing efforts through research, telephone calls, and meetings
- Work with data to create charts, figures and tables; analyze environmental science and policy
- Communicate scientific concepts associated with the development of environmental regulations and policies
- Provide administrative support including answering the phone and managing emailsc
Required Qualifications
The successful applicant must:
- Have at least a bachelors degree, 3.2 GPA or higher
- Have a willingness to work hard at various tasks to help an exciting small consulting firm grow
- Have strong writing and analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Be a self starter who shows initiative and follow-through
- Have strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Have an ability to work in teams
- Enjoy interdisciplinary approaches to environmental issues
- Demonstrate an understanding of environmental science, regulatory compliance, and policy
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Be able to prioritize and multi-task while remaining flexible and effective
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemistry or physical science degree preferred
- Prior experience with graphics programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator, GIS, CAD, or business/marketing a plus
