Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation

EI is providing support to the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation (CCT) in a natural resources damage assessment (NRDA) concerning the Upper Columbia River (UCR) in Washington State. The US EPA is currently undertaking a remedial investigation, also for which EI is providing technical support to the CCT, of the UCR extending from the U.S./Canadian Border to the Grand Coulee Dam.

EI is working with other State Trustees as part of an ongoing and progressive process to identify restoration alternatives and discuss quantification and compensation approaches that may apply best at the UCR. EI has a significant role on behalf of CCT in ongoing and future NRDA tasks, including initiation of a Preliminary Assessment Screening (PAS) and finalization of a PAS Report, determination of injury, drafting and completion of injury quantification and damage determination, and initiation and completion of report of assessment phase packages.
