Oversight of Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study

Project management for a Superfund site in Northeastern Oregon. Project included site characterizations (contamination assessment and identification of chemicals of concern), assessment of relevant geologic and hydrogeologic conditions, review and oversight of field investigations, the remedial investigation, a risk assessment, treatability studies and the feasibility study. Review and oversight of field investigations, the remedial investigation, a risk assessment, treatability studies, and the feasibility study prepared by Kerr-McGee Corporation for the cleanup of a Superfund site in Northeastern Oregon. Assessment involved complex issues regarding migration of contaminants in soil and sediments and determination of appropriate background levels. Of particular concern were the sediments in two ponds.
